Week Eight: Routine

7/8/2015

This weekend, I have mostly been knocking down a garage and using the rubble as hardcore for a new patio - so I haven's spent much time at my laptop.

So, routine? I go to work, but even that isn't much of a routine because I work on a two week rota - one week busy, but with random hours, the next week not so much.

Not even my writing has a proper routine. In fact, the only thing I stick to - almost to an extreme - is my gym workout. And this is it. (If you look closely, you might be able to see what a weakling I am!)

I've been going to the gym for 15 years now, and started recording my workouts after training to become an instructor 7 years ago. I love the fact I can look back to see how my lifts compare - although due to injury, some of my numbers have remained stubbornly the same (and I ignore those - my biceps, for example, have remained almost exactly the same...)

Do you have routines, or do you prefer to go with the flow? Do you write down your gym workout, and does it make you push harder to achieve your goals?

Dark contemporary fiction with a hint of paranormal
"Besides Annalisa's clever writing style, I enjoy the unpredictable plots and the characters that are so very normal, yet tragically broken in some way or another."
