Week Six: Obsession

17/7/2015

Picture
I don't really have any serious obsessions in my life, so it took a while to decide what I could photograph for this prompt. (Chocolate was a close second, but I thought that was a bit obvious.)

This photo represents my love of re-reading and re-watching my favourite books and films.

Years ago, during a particularly boring school summer holiday my sister and I watched Grease and Fiddler on the Roof on a loop. And I've read Pride and Prejudice too many times to count.

I love the ease of falling back into a world that I know so well. Sometimes I just seek out my favourite passages or scenes, especially if I'm short of time.

So, this counts as an obsession, yes?

Annalisa Crawford, Author

Dark contemporary fiction with a hint of paranormal
"Besides Annalisa's clever writing style, I enjoy the unpredictable plots and the characters that are so very normal, yet tragically broken in some way or another."
