The Plan!

8/3/2014

To put this update in context, it's currently 8am on Saturday morning, and I was hoping for a lie-in after a very tiring week where no matter how much I slept, I needed a lot more.

Anyway, I woke up an hour ago, my head buzzing with all the writing things I ought to be doing- and which I'm currently not doing due to sheer sluggishness. My hand grabbed a pen and I wrote a list:
Picture
Hopefully, there's something on that list which intrigues you. I'm especially excited about going back over ALL my short stories and seeing what mayhem I can create! Pictures Fading is a novel that I have been writing on and off for the last twenty-five years - and one that I assumed had come to the end of its useable life. But if it's lurking in my sleep-addled head, perhaps it's worth another look...

I bet you'll surprise yourself as you re-look at your work. I shall cross my fingers on your behalf - lots of winners ahead

Thanks Joanne, that's what I'm hoping. It just seems a shame to have all those words going to waste!

I have a lot of projects that have been gathering dust for years and years. I hope to get back to them and find something salvageable, too, one day.

I'm sure you'll find a lot worth saving, polishing, and publishing.

Looks like it's time to get productive! Must be spring fever. ;) Good luck with all your goals!

Yes, I think the spring definitely has something to do with it :-)

Dark contemporary fiction with a hint of paranormal
"Besides Annalisa's clever writing style, I enjoy the unpredictable plots and the characters that are so very normal, yet tragically broken in some way or another."
