Retreat West Novel Prize

25/3/2019

I'm definitely doing a happy dance right now! My novel Small Forgotten Moments has placed 2nd in the inaugural Retreat West Novel Prize. My prize is a full critique, and I can't wait to read it. Click here to read the official announcement.

Congratulations to Nick Petty and Rachel Rivett for their 1st and 3rd places.

Many thanks to Amanda Saint for spending most of the winter reading and re-reading the eight shortlisted novels. If you have a novel hanging around, this year's competition will open soon.

Congrats, Annalisa! What an accomplishment!
I just saw a tweet of yours talking about this, and that's the only way I found out. Evidently, WP unsuscribed me from your posts, so I never saw this announcement. Grrrrr !! Oh, well. :)

Thanks Stacey. I just received my critique this week, and I'll be delving into it soon - I glanced quickly, and it's much more in depth than I've ever had before, so it'll be an interesting step for me.

Dark contemporary fiction with a hint of paranormal
"Besides Annalisa's clever writing style, I enjoy the unpredictable plots and the characters that are so very normal, yet tragically broken in some way or another."
