Goals and plans in 2015

3/1/2015

PictureMy new novel is slowly appearing inside this very cool notebook!
Ah, 2015, how lovely to meet you! I'm still not fully integrated into the new year yet - I don't go back to my day job until tomorrow. But after that, it's go go go!

My goals:
  • Write a sequel to a novel I'm currently querying, and have the first draft ready by the end of February - when the hard work will start
  • Re-write a very old novel that I've never fully realised
  • Write and submit a short story every single month. I've been a bit lazy with submitting recently, but it'll be a good way to promote my books - assuming I get something accepted!

My plans:
  • A weekend away with my dad and sister at Duxford air show in July
  • A possible school reunion (25 years already - someone's maths must be wrong!)
  • To knock down our garage and make the garden look lovely (which was also the plan for last year - oops!)
My resolution:
  • This year I plan to wear all the clothes in my wardrobe (no, not all at once!) I always end up wearing the same jeans and t-shirts or jumpers. So this year I'm going to dig a little deeper and wear all the stuff I haven't worn for ages. This will have a knock on effect of saving money on buying new clothes.

Happy 2015!

Annalisa Crawford, Author

Dark contemporary fiction with a hint of paranormal
"Besides Annalisa's clever writing style, I enjoy the unpredictable plots and the characters that are so very normal, yet tragically broken in some way or another."
