I've been pretty busy over the last couple of weeks:
Not only is That Sadie Thing available in my home town, but it's also available in Lincoln. This might seem a random place to have my book available, but the BookStop Cafe is no ordinary bookshop/cafe, and it's owner, Joff Gainey is no ordinary bookshop/cafe owner. Joff has scooped up all his indie author friends and made their books available in his shop - not to mention, the cafe has the most amazing looking cakes which he regularly posts pictures of on Facebook! One day I am determined to visit, just to taste those cakes... and to look at some wonderful books, of course.
I've been in contact with my publisher about my next book with them - a collection of novellas all set in the same town. I'm really excited about this collection, and I'll have more details when they're available.
And finally, I'm delving deep into some rewrites of an old novel. My aim was to take this novel, which I dubbed the most depressing novel in the world ever, and make it less depressing, Judging by the way I cried over a single sentence the other day, I'm not sure I'm fulfilling my aim!
