I've just realised that Our Beautiful Child is available on my publisher's website. I'm not sure how long it's been there, but apologies to my editor Fawn for not advertising it earlier.
Click here to check it out, and while you're there, have a look around at all the other great titles. After all, it's almost Christmas, I bet you know some avid readers, and Vagabondage Press really do have something for everyone.
This week I saw the draft cover of my new book, Our Beautiful Child, for the first time.
Nothing quite prepares you for opening that email - has the designer hit the right note, does the cover reflect the story, does it match your own vision of the story you've spent (up to) five years writing?
And the answer is... Yes!
Maggie Ward, who designed my cover for Cat & The Dreamer, has worked wonders on this new cover, and I'll be sharing it as soon as I have the final copy in my hand.
I've been pretty busy over the last couple of weeks:
In March this year I was featured on my publisher's blog here. The original interview took place about a year before, so some of my answers mention things that have already happened. The answer I gave about looking back at older projects turned into the That Sadie Thing collection.
Since I was published in 2012, Vagabondage Press have restructured, and are now known as Battered Suitcase Press.
