Wishing you a very happy 2014. Keep reading :-)It's been an awesome year for me - my second book released, my first public reading and my first book signing! I'm looking forward to working on my third book with my editor over the next couple of months, and then it will be released into the world. And I've got two more books in draft form, which I'll be completing over the course of the year.
I wish you all the best for 2014. To celebrate National Short Story Day here in the UK, I thought I'd share a short story with you. If I'd planned it better, I could have written a nice Christmas story, but as it is, here's one I wrote earlier... One of those damn annoying things |
I had a great time at my book signing today. I met some lovely people, caught up with some friends, and I gave my first interview to a local journalist - which I wasn't expecting, but I think it went okay. It was a very nice way to spend the morning. Thank you to Jill and Pip for having me. |
Things have been pretty quiet here recently - just lot of writing, and catching up with the excellent Castle that I didn't realise was excellent until a couple of months ago. Luckily there's a cable channel that shows it daily, so it won't take me long!
I'm looking forward to my book signing event in my local bookshop on Wednesday. I can't wait to try out their gorgeous cakes.
