An update

PictureSadie hits the BookStop Cafe in Lincoln
I've been pretty busy over the last couple of weeks:

  • Not only is That Sadie Thing available in my home town, but it's also available in Lincoln. This might seem a random place to have my book available, but the BookStop Cafe is no ordinary bookshop/cafe, and it's owner, Joff Gainey is no ordinary bookshop/cafe owner. Joff has scooped up all his indie author friends and made their books available in his shop - not to mention, the cafe has the most amazing looking cakes which he regularly posts pictures of on Facebook! One day I am determined to visit, just to taste those cakes... and to look at some wonderful books, of course.
  • I've been in contact with my publisher about my next book with them - a collection of novellas all set in the same town. I'm really excited about this collection, and I'll have more details when they're available.
  • And finally, I'm delving deep into some rewrites of an old novel. My aim was to take this novel, which I dubbed the most depressing novel in the world ever, and make it less depressing, Judging by the way I cried over a single sentence the other day, I'm not sure I'm fulfilling my aim!

Annalisa Crawford, Author

Dark contemporary fiction with a hint of paranormal
"Besides Annalisa's clever writing style, I enjoy the unpredictable plots and the characters that are so very normal, yet tragically broken in some way or another."
