AI Policy

AI seems to be quickly taking over every area of life, so I want to state my policy on using AI.

• I do not and will not use Generative AI within any part of my own writing and content. All ideas, research, and errors, are my own.
• I will only use human editors and proof readers.
• I will not use AI for translation or audiobook creation.
• I do not and will not use AI to generate book covers and associated materials. I will always strive to find real people to do this work because I appreciate the effort and time that goes into developing something unique.
• I do not and will not use AI in my social media content. All output is mine alone.
• I do not give my permission for my work, or any part of it, to be used to train AI, although I am sadly aware this statement makes no difference to the companies who are stealing creative work in all its forms.
• I am fully against the environmental impact that large data centres will have and are already having on the planet. Huge leaps in the technology behind it will have to occur for me to change my mind.
