I love clouds. I love staring up at them. Yes, in the middle of the field, while walking the dog, I can sometimes be found staring up. I hope I'm not the only one!
Anyway, the other when I was walking, it was a hot, sunny, beautiful day and I snapped these photos. Just as well, because today it's raining and the whole sky is dull and grey. The forecast is for a heatwave next week, so fingers crossed... Week 2, and I'm bang on time with my next photo of the challenge. (Or possibly early - I'm going to try to schedule this post and it might not work.)
It's another tricky prompt though, because one of my guilty pleasures as a writer is to spend the occasional day in my PJs - it's amazing how productive you can be when you trick yourself into thinking you've got the day off - and I'm trying to use this challenge to represent my writing life. However, I also have a dog, so unless I can convince #1 son to walk him, I have to get dressed. And, yes, I do realise that hiding my face for last week's self-portrait and showing it today is an inconsistency, but... Look! Cute dog! I'm starting something new - a photography challenge. I found a 30 day challenge on Pinterest, but I'm going to turn it into a weekly challenge, because I thought moving from irregular posting to every day might be a little bit too much for me to handle.
So, today it's Self Portrait day. I usually hide away from cameras, so this was a difficult first prompt for me - I've cheated just a little bit. This is me, today... |
